LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Starting in June, Lynchburg Parks and Recreation will kick off their summer camp season, featuring week-long, half-day, specialty enrichment camps.
The camps are being offered to children ages 6 and up, including adults.
This summer’s camp line-up features Master Chef Jr., Virtual Scratch Ninja Coding, Make & Bake, Story Maker’s Theater, Broadway Musical Theater, pottery, Magic Tree House Adventure, paddling, archery, and an adult art camp for ages 18 and up.
According to Lynchburg Parks and Recreation, campers will develop special skills and gain knowledge through hands-on instruction, workshops, projects, and more.

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — In a year full of unprecedented times, the Steamboat Springs Parks and Recreation department saw an unprecedented moment of its own when the city’s annual summer day camp filled up in 30 seconds.
While the camp is always busy, spots normally fill up in 30 to 45 minutes.
