In a win for unions, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has signed Democratic laws repealing the state’s right-to-work regulation.
The transfer makes Michigan the primary state in many years to repeal the union-restriction regulation. Whitmer additionally signed laws restoring a prevailing wage regulation that the state’s Republican lawmakers repealed in 2018.
