Southwest Virginia authorized help group will get $585,000 federal grant | Native Information



A nonprofit that gives authorized providers in Southwest Virginia will obtain greater than $500,000 in federal funding.

The Southwest Virginia Authorized Assist Society was awarded a $585,631 grant from the Division of Justice’s Workplace on Violence Towards Girls.

“I’m happy to announce this important grant, which is able to help the Southwest Virginia Authorized Assist Society in persevering with to deliver much-needed assets to the residents of Southwest Virginia,” performing U.S. Legal professional Daniel Bubar stated in an announcement.

The society serves a 17-county space that features Floyd, Montgomery and Giles counties and all jurisdictions to the west.
